We collect as little as we can, we never sell it, and you can ask us to delete it.

Who we are
OOMU Academy is run by Eldris. It has two parts: this website (oomu.io) and the course site where you take courses (academy.oomu.io).
On this website
We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help people. It records things like the pages you view, the kind of device and browser you use, your approximate location (city or region), and how you found us. It uses cookies to do this. We don't use it to show you ads, and we don't sell it.
When you take a course
To take courses and earn certificates, you create an account on academy.oomu.io. We keep:
- Your name and email address.
- Which courses you start, your progress, and your quiz answers.
- Any certificates you earn.
We use this to run your courses, issue certificates, and send you emails you need, like password resets and certificates. We send email through Mailjet. The course site also uses Google Analytics, as described above.
What you paste into AI
Our courses ask you to use free AI tools, such as Google's Gemini, in a separate browser tab. What you type or paste into them goes to the company that runs the tool, not to us, and that company's privacy terms apply. That's why our practice examples are made up, and why we ask you to paste only what you're allowed to share.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your information.
- We don't use it for advertising.
- We don't see what you type into any AI tool.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete your account and everything in it. Email support@oomu.io and we'll take care of it.
You can also block or clear cookies in your browser. The site still works without them.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
